Camper's Words

Camp WeHaKee is the place where I know I belong. It has taught me so many things over the years. WeHaKee has taught me to be the person I am and that that person should be good enough for everyone else.

For six years, Camp WeHaKee has been my home away from home. It is the place where I have created lifelong friendships with people from all over the world. And these people are some of my best and truest friends.

So Thank You Camp WeHaKee… for all the memories you've given me. They will be ones I will cherish in my heart forever!

Camp WeHaKee has meant everything to me – it's the only place on earth where I can be myself and meet friends that I will know will be forever.   Camp WeHaKee has been the highlight of my life for five years now and I can't imagine my life without the experience WeHaKee gives you and the friends that come out of it. At WeHaKee you learn that people come in different shapes and colors and they can be be an amazing friend.

Camp WeHaKee made me a better person and my two best friends in the world, I met at WeHaKee!

Camp WeHaKee is a place where each and every girl is different. At WeHaKee every girl gets to be who they really are – no one here has to wear certain clothes or wear make-up to hide who they are to be accepted. People here at WeHaKee accept you for who  you are on the inside.   If every person at WeHaKee was the same, then it would'nt be what it is now … and that is why Camp WeHaKee is such a great place!

My first year at Camp WeHaKee, I was only eight years old. Everything was so new and those two weeks felt like an eternity. Now after six years, Camp WeHaKee seems like a second home to me and I have made friendships that will last a lifetime. WeHaKee has helped me to grow as a person and to learn about other cultures from around the world. If I had never come to WeHaKee, I wouldn't be the girl I am today!
