We’re taking a little different tack today and making sure y’all know that this Tuesday (November 15th) is Wear Your Camp Shirt Day!! This isn’t just a WeHaKee event, it is for anyone and everyone who has attended a camp anywhere. Wear you camp shirts and let the world know how you feel about camp! Wear your WeHaKee shirts and let everyone know about the best camp around!!

If we must live away from camp for part of the year, we are blessed that we do so in La Crosse, Wisconsin. In addition to being nestled between the Mississippi River to the west and the drift-less region bluffs to the east, it is also the home to three wonderful institutions of higher learning, one of those being Viterbo University.

Providing sex education in the schools has been a divisive topic politically for quite some time. Here in Wisconsin, it is back in the spotlight as the Republicans are now trying to reverse what the Democrats mandated just a few short years ago. Not sure either political party has the tools, knowledge or the compassion for students to effectively address this issue, but that is a topic for another blog!
