WeHaKee Camp for Girls utilizes the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, for camper flight arrangements. The airport code is MSP.
To Camp Flights
Please schedule camper flights to arrive at MSP between 11:00am & 4:00pm. This will allow ample time to arrive at camp before sunset providing the camper opportunities to settle in comfortably. Ground transportation is available and details are listed below.
We cannot guarantee escort and transportation services to those scheduled on flights NOT WITHIN THIS TIMEFRAME without prior approval of the WeHaKee Camp for Girls director. If you cannot secure a flight arrival within this timeframe, please contact the WeHaKee Camp for Girls Administrative Office for assistance BEFORE booking the flight. If prior arrangements are not made with WeHaKee Camp for Girls, additional fees for additional transportation needs may apply (up $750 per person). If flights are delayed or cancelled, we will do all we can to ensure those campers receive proper supervision and transportation when they do arrive at MSP.
From Camp Flights
Please schedule camper flights to depart MSP between 12:00pm and 5:00pm. This will allow ground transportation from camp to leave camp at a reasonable hour in the morning. Again, ground transportation is available and details are listed below.
We cannot guarantee escort and transportation services to those scheduled on flights NOT WITHIN THIS TIME FRAME without prior approval of the WeHaKee Camp for Girls director. If you cannot secure a flight arrival within this timeframe, please contact the WeHaKee Camp for Girls Administrative Office for assistance BEFORE booking the flight. If prior arrangements are not made with WeHaKee, additional fees for additional transportation needs may apply (up $750 per person). If flights are delayed or cancelled, we will do all we can to ensure those campers receive proper supervision until their flight departs MSP.
Regarding Unaccompanied Minors
In order for WeHaKee Camp for Girls staff to accompany campers to or from their gates, parents of the camper must utilize the airline's unaccompanied minor program for all flights to and from MSP. There is generally a fee charged by the airline for this program. Please arrange for this prior to the camper's arrival at camp to ensure that WeHaKee Camp for Girls staff will be authorized to go through airport security to meet the camper at her gate.
Traveling by Bus
From Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP)
Bus service from/to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) in Minnesota will be available on the opening and closing day of each session. This service is available for both those flying in/out of MSP and those from in or near the Twin Cities area choosing to use bus transportation to/from camp. To ensure that space is available, campers should be registered for bus transportation at least two weeks prior to the start of their session. The bus transportation Fee is $125 each way (round trip is $250).
From Winnetka, River Forest, Milwaukee and Madison
Bus service from/to Winnetka or River Forest in Illinois, or from Milwaukee (Mitchell Park Domes) or Madison (near East Town) in Wisconsin will be available on the opening and closing day of each session. To ensure that space is available, campers should be registered for Bus Transportation at least two weeks prior to the start of their session. The bus transportation Fee is $125 each way (round trip is $250).
