Cloudless Sky Will Make It Perfect For a Full Moon
Today turned out to be a beautiful day at camp. The rain did not last long and we did not hesitate to get back to our activities! It actually was a great day to sail! Many campers sailed for the first time and on their own today without any assistance. Our overnight camping trip is coming up fast and today the girls all learned how to set up tents on their own so they will be well prepared for their upcoming trip to Black Lake. The bicycle class got a nice, long ride in today going up and down hills just outside of camp.
Girls were all about stepping up today to participate in mass. Many served, read, sang, or played a musical instrument. It was a great mass to start off the summer with! Tonight we are winding down with Activity Night, where the girls can sign up for what they would like to do and meet other campers outside of their cabins.
We are hoping for a stretch of sunny weather to come our way so we all can continue to add to our list of achievements.
Oh! Don’t forget it is also a full moon tonight, maybe Mary WeHaKee will make an appearance!
