Stormy Evening, But We’re All Fine!
It was a bit of a stormy evening tonight at WeHaKee. Knowing foul weather was brewing, we watched the radar and decided at the end of dinner it would be best to head on over to our storm shelter below the chapel. Although our county was under a thunderstorm warning, we really only experienced heavy rain leaving some monster puddles in the valley! The campers were calm and waited patiently as we spent about and hour and a half waiting out the weather. Everyone is now back in their cabins settling in for a good night’s sleep. The radar and forecast suggests showers to continue for a while, but tomorrow should be partly cloudy and a great day for all of the outdoor activities.
