WeHaKee COVID-19 March 22 Update
As always, our first thoughts include our expression of hope that you, your family, and friends are safe and healthy during this unprecedented health crisis. Like you, we are closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. And we want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our entire camp community very seriously.
Many of you may be wondering if Camp WeHaKee will be open this summer. At this time, the answer is Yes. Currently, we remain deeply hopeful that the situation will improve in the coming weeks, allowing the camp to be open and provide safe and meaningful experiences for all. However, we recognize that conditions may result in adjustments to the summer schedule. Again, the safety and well-being of all of our WeHaKee participants will be the foremost consideration of all decisions regarding the status of Summer 2020.
Now more than ever, our WeHaKee community is a beacon of hope and relationship. With that in mind, we are ramping up our virtual social interactions on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube while exploring other platforms to bring us together! If you are not already doing so, please join us and stay connected to the WeHaKee Camp for Girls!
We hope and pray that all of you will remain safe and healthy during these challenging times. May God’s Blessings be with you.
Sincerely,
Bob, Maggie, Margaret, and the whole WeHaKee team
