IMPORTANT NOTICES: Due to the higher risk of COVID-19 transmission in the enclosed setting of a bus, we strongly encourage families to transport their child directly to camp via car. Traveling to and from camp via a personal vehicle is the best mode of transportation. It decreases the potential COVID-19 exposure while outside of the home and camp bubbles. We strongly encourage all of our families to use this form of travel as it provides the lowest risk of COVID-19 exposure to our campers and staff.
For campers needing to fly to camp, we strongly encourage that a parent/guardian fly with the child, rent a vehicle and transport her personally to camp. If a parent is unable to fly with their child and she will be in need of a gate escort to assist her in the airport, please contact our WeHaKee Office before booking flights to arrange for proper supervision and support.
PLEASE NOTE: Campers must provide official documentation they have received a COVID-19 test within 3-5 days prior to their arrival and that the test result is negative (they do not have COVID-19). If this documentation is not provided prior to or at the time of arrival, the camper will not be allowed to enter or participate in camp at that time. Those riding the bus TO CAMP need to provide this documentation prior to boarding the bus to camp. Those flying to camp, should provide this information via email prior to flight of origin departure.
*Campers Riding the Minneapolis Bus 'Local’ and 'Flying' campers choosing to ride the ‘Minneapolis’ bus will need to be picked up by a parent/guardian at the predetermined location at or near the airport at the designated time. Families will be notified of the appropriate arrival time 7-10 days prior to departure. Parents/Guardians arriving to retrieve their child are asked to stay socially distant from the entire group to reduce potential exposure.
